Moving over summer? Book before we close
If you plan to move in January or February, get your quote in early. Our team can lock in your dates before the break, so you won’t be waiting in the January queue. Quote requests sent while we’re closed will be answered from 5 January 2027.
Why we close over Christmas
Five years ago we chose not to follow the trend of working through Christmas and New Year. It costs us three to four days of peak-season revenue. What we get back is worth more: the goodwill and gratitude of our employees, contractors and their families.
Furniture moving and long-distance driving mean long hours of hard physical work. A proper break gives our teams time to rest, see family and friends, and come back ready for 2027. Our customers get a crew that turns up fresh in January.
Thank you to all our customers and partners for your trust and support this year. We look forward to working with you again in 2027.
From everyone at Container Relocations, have a safe and relaxing holiday season and a happy New Year.
