Essentials Checklist
- Medications
- Glasses / Sunglasses / Contact lenses (and solutions), Hearing aids.
- Important Documents –
- Wills
- Powers of Attorney
- Passports
- Insurance policies (health, home, car, contents)
- Medical records
- End of Year tax paperwork
- Driver’s licenses
- Bank documents
- Certificates (marriage, birth etc)
- Electronics – phones, notebooks, tablets, charging cords, backup storage.
- Pot plants and other perishable items, such as food
- Tools of trade, trade licenses and uniforms.
- Favourite toys for pets and humans.
- Enough changes of clothes (for seasons in storage) and toiletries/jewellery
- Spare keys (including keys to your container)
- Please also remember you need to keep Dangerous Goods out of the container. Please see the document here.
Lastly, please remember your loading day will be busy and perhaps a bit emotional. Please ensure the above items are well away from the items being loaded in the container. Safely in your car is best.
